Sex and, Entertainment

 Lately I have been having impure thoughts lately and, I think it has been the music I have been listening too. It is really hard to listen to music I like and, is appropriate this day and, age.  It is also very hard to find movies and TV shows that are good for adult but clean

I usually listen to classic soul music. Motown, Disney, easy listening, jazz, classical, adult contemporary, 80s and, 90s pop, and R&B, gospel and, Christian music. I know what you guys are thinking, that seems like a ton of music to me. But I wanted to keep up with my generation though. I wanted to listen to the latest song by Katy Perry. But even one of her songs is about getting it with someone because of their birthday. I also love Beyoncé. Loved her ever since her B-day album but after she came up with that song "Drunk In Love" I was totally put back. Don't get me wrong I'm not afraid to talk about sex in a respectful manner. I am not a prude. If you want to talk about sex, lets talk about sex but talking about sex with a lot of sexual innuendos in my opinion are really immature and, that is what makes sex disgusting. And sex is not suppose to be disgusting.

I find TV shows are not align with my beliefs and, values. They talk about sex was too much. Actually pardon me, they joke about sex way too much. Most TV shows about teenagers think it's okay to for teenagers to have sex. I'm a religious person and, I believe you should wait until marriage to have sex with your spouse but I don't force my beliefs on anyone else. I don't care if adult imply that they had sex married or not on TV or in real life but teenagers. Most teenage characters on TV are played by adults but I still feel like yelling into the TV set and, say "DO YOU KNOW WHAT ACTUAL TEENAGERS LOOK LIKE?" The teenagers I know haven't developed boobs or grown facial hair yet. I know that teenagers are having sex, that's part of reality but I'm not going to support that. Teenagers are too young, a lot of teenagers who have sex the first time said they regretted it.

The point is I'm going to stop listening to that kind of music with a lot profanity and, too many sexual innuendos. I probably won't be watching any TV at all but show I know I like. I am going to stick to the music I actually liked in the first place and, not change just to keep up with trends.
